Smallville Season 2
Season 2 of the Smallville TV show was premiered on 9-24-2002 and the opening episode of the season was Vortex (2). A cliffhanger was left by the season 1 and the first episode of the season second resolved that. During the season, Lex becomes more entangled with his father; Jonathan and Martha are suffering from some financial troubles. Clark discovers his Kryptonian origins throughout the season. Clark’s biological father Jor-EI communicates to Clark through his space ship. Christopher Reeve (Superman in 1970, 1980s) appears as Dr. Virgil Swann to provide information regarding heritage to Clark. Red kryptonite causes Clark to set aside moral compunctions and green kryptonite makes him physically weak. Second Season’s ending episode ‘Exodus’ was aired on 5-20-2003.
